We are Malaysians living in Gold Coast. We live in an area called Varsity Lakes, which is about 15 minutes from Coolanggatta Airport (Airasia lands there), 5 minutes from the famous Burleigh Beach, 15 mins from Surfers Paradise and about 20 mins from Seaworld. We specialise in making your family holiday in Gold Coast the best holiday ever… and hopefuly get you the best deal ever, in terms of prices and promotions.
We have 2 accomodation types available.
OPTION 1 - RUMAH LAKESIDE
This is a 3 bedroom Unit facing Lake Orr. In Australia, this kind of unit is called "townhouse". If you choose RUMAH LAKESIDE, you rent the whole unit and cook your own food (halal only please). It is a very comfortable and cosy holiday home for a family or even 2 families to share. Located in one of the nicer suburbs, very near to Bond University. Unit is facing lake, you can go fishing or take beautiful walks around the lake and island. The unit itself has a small pretty garden with a small pond, complete with herbs that you might need for cooking. A charcoal barbeque is provided along with barbeque-ing tools. The unit also shares (with other units) large grounds for children to play, plus a huge resort style pool.
Rooms at Rumah Lakeside :
The master bedroom has a queen bed, walk in wardrobe and an attached bathroom. Bedroom 2 & 3 have 2 single beds in each room. bedroom 2 and 3 share a huge bathroom. Extra mattresses and bedding are available upon request.
Facilities at Rumah Lakeside :
Unlimited HI speed Internet, Full and complete kitchen with toaster, oven, microwave, rice-cooker, dishes and cutlery. Automatic Dishwasher in kitchen. Both washing machine and dryer are available to do your laundry. a Charcoal barbeque is in garden for those who want to try the Australian lifestyle. There is lovely al-fresco dining outdoors, perfect for great Queensland weather.
Price at Rumah Lakeside :
Basic rate for first 6 guests :
between 200-250 per night depending on length of stay
additional guests - AUD 15 per person per night. Additional rates cover additional costs of electricity, heating and water for extra guests, as well as extra sheets, pillows and bedding.
Price includes airport transfer - (to and from Coolanggatta airport only). Extra services (prepared halal meals, transportation and more) can be arranged for you (at a much cheaper rate compared to renting cars and/or eating out)
OPTION 2 - RUMAH WINTON
This is a holiday suite, when you choose Rumah Winton, you choose to stay with us, we are your hosts. It is more of a bed and breakfast concept. You do not rent the whole house, just the Holiday Suite in the house. The suite is huge (6.3metres x 6.1 metres). Your suite opens up to the swimming pool, and beautiful gardens. Breakfast is served daily, your children can enjoy our beautiful pool, and you will love sitting and enjoying a lovely Australian breakfast outside while watching them swim. We understand you want your privacy, and we leave you to do your own thing.
Rooms at Rumah Winton :
The holiday suite has a Queen bed, double bunks and tv. Extra bedding is also available for family larger than 5 people.
Facilities at Rumah Winton:
HI speed internet. Your room has a small fridge, microwave and kettle for making beverages. You are welcome to use the house, we even have a pool table for a game of snooker. The swimming pool is just outside your room.
Each morning breakfast is semi-buffet - breads, spreads, cereals and milk plus seasonal fruit for you to help yourself to, and a hot breakfast platter is served (choice of australian breakfast or Malaysian breakfast) for each guest.

Rate at holiday suite is
between 150-200 per night depending on length of stay.
Rate includes stay and breakfast for 5 people. Additional guests incur cost of AUD15 per night (or AUD10 if more than 7 nights).
Extra services (prepared halal meals, transportation and more) can be arranged for you (at a much cheaper rate compared to renting cars and/or eating out)
Spend your day out doing touristy things, Seaworld, Movieworld, Dreamworld, and much much more… and if you are too tired to look for a halal dinner outside, we can prepare dinner for you. Meals are all Halal, and you can let us know if you want australian or malaysian style meals. Rate quoted above for both houses includes pickup to and from Coolanggatta airport (will cost you AUD80 one-way for a family of 5). Everything that you could possibly need, we will probably have it. you just need to ask; car seats, gps, fishing rods, body boards, beach towels, telekung, selipar jepun even... :)
